Baking




Grandma deliberately chose store-bought refrigerated biscuit dough for brunch on Saturday because she predicted Mabel would love the way the tubular cardboard container gets popped open with a blow, like a  pinata, and rounds of puffy dough come billowing out to be arranged by a small child on the tray and later eaten with many trimmings after an adult has baked them.
