More and More

The Royal Collection contains an enormous amount of furniture scattered throughout several palaces, and all the flat surfaces on top of all that furniture require royal-worthy ornaments. Luckily, the Royal Collection is well endowed with the right kind of ornaments. The pairs and singles pulled together here date mostly from the Jane Austen period  end of the 18th and beginning of the 19th centuries. And they mostly reflect the taste of the Prince Regent, a Jane Austen fan himself, who finally came into his own as George IV in the 1820s.
