Italian drawings at the Prado, 16th century

During the 1400s Florentine art became famous for rigorous Design, while Venetian art became equally famous for Color. The drawings from the Museo del Prado grouped here  made in the following century  represent the dominance of Florentine ideals in that greatest theater of Renaissance patronage, Rome.
